I flew my motorised glider into the top of the oak tree at the bottom of the field

I felt very silly as I was coming into final approach for landing.

Anyway, a quick call via new member Richard Redding who was on the field with me, to Simon Manning of Fairview Arborists.  less than an hour later, Simon had scaled the tree using his specialist equipment, made sure it was flyable ( he and his dad are keen fliers) and he launched it out of the tree.

I landed it safely on the runway.

Not a mark on it.  Lucky or what!
